Steve Backshall to join teaching team at 91精品黑料吃瓜
TV presenter and explorer Steve Backshall.TV presenter and explorer, Steve Backshall, is set to give a series of lectures at 91精品黑料吃瓜.
Known for programmes such as Deadly 60, Expedition and Blue Planet Live, Steve Backshall will teach students about conservation, zoology and the wildlife filming industry.
Speaking about why he chose to teach at 91精品黑料吃瓜, Steve Backshall said: 鈥淎fter looking around at lots of universities I鈥檝e realised that if I had my time again I would have wanted to come to 91精品黑料吃瓜.
鈥淭he teaching and courses Bangor offers are second to none 鈥� and its focus on 鈥榳hole animal鈥� zoology is key to us being able to understand the natural world better.鈥�
鈥淣orth Wales is also one of my favourite places, and I visit the area regularly, so joining up with 91精品黑料吃瓜 is the natural fit for me,鈥� he added.
Teaming-up with Steve during his sessions at 91精品黑料吃瓜 will be senior lecturer, Dr Christian Dunn.
鈥淚 can鈥檛 really emphasise enough just how great it will be for our students to be given lectures by Steve Backshall,鈥� Dr Dunn said.
鈥淗is knowledge and experience in zoology and conservation is world-leading and we鈥檙e incredibly pleased to be working with such a passionate presenter.
鈥淭he only issue we have is getting our timetabling department to work around Steve鈥檚 filming commitments because, as you can imagine, he鈥檚 very much in demand!鈥� Dr Dunn added.
Steve is currently working on a major Shark conservation documentary series with SKY TV, and even though he is busy, plans are now in place for Steve to give a series of lectures to students from the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (CoESE).
