91��Ʒ���ϳԹ�

The Research-informed Professional Practice and Learning in Education (RiPPLE) Centre brings together the expertise, resources, and shared values of 91��Ʒ���ϳԹ� and Wrexham University to serve the needs of Wales and beyond. 

It will support collaboration between educators and researchers to foster professional learning that is grounded in high-quality research, as well as develop and share resources and training that is useful, accessible, and helpful.   

The RiPPLE Centre will support educators’ career development and support schools to deliver innovative, inclusive, bilingual learning experiences for children.   

Tricia Sterling, Head of School of Education at 91��Ʒ���ϳԹ�, said “The RiPPLE Centre cements our commitment to supporting educators at every stage of their career with access to research-informed professional learning.  Working in partnership with Wrexham University allows us to bring together the best of our expertise to co-create useful support with and for schools across Wales.” 

Sue Horder, Associate Dean at Wrexham University, added “This collaboration marks an exciting embodiment of our shared vision for education in Wales – one that is inclusive, innovative, and deeply connected to the needs of practitioners and learners.  The RiPPLE Centre will provide a vital space for professional dialogue, inquiry, and growth.” 

The RiPPLE Centre will launch with a week of Professional Learning events for educators beginning Wednesday 30th June 2025.   

Central to the RiPPLE Centre’s work will be ensuring that it meets the needs of practitioners.  To ensure this, the RiPPLE Centre would be very glad to hear from any practitioners who would like to be part of the Centre’s Steering Group.
