- Ed appeared on BBC Radio Cymru to discuss the takeover of Royal Mail by Daniel Kretinsky and the challenges facing the new owner. He also discussed recent data for the US economy. .
- Ed鈥檚 monthly column for Business News Wales is now available online (). The article responds to the new UK Government initiative to reduce economic inactivity and discusses why political leaders in Wales need to change the narrative regarding global events.
- Congratulations to Shee Yee, whose paper entitled "CFO overconfidence, environmental violations and firm performance: The moderating role of constituency statutes鈥 has been accepted for publication in European Management Review.
- Congratulations to Rasha, Cem and our former colleague Noemi. Their paper entitled 鈥淭he Impact of Brexit on SME Lending in the UK鈥 has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Rural Studies.
- Welcome to Dr. Lara Haddad, who has joined BBS as a visiting researcher for a year from 16/04/2024. Lara is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Yarmouk University (Jordan). She will be working with Khaled on a project on the impact of Fintech on earnings management.
